“As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), maintenance, backup and security of my business computer are extremely important to me. Additionally, to improve my productivity, I use 3 monitors, where I am able to view and work on multiple applications and documents at the same time. To this end, I purchased a customized PC from a PC assembler in April 2008, using top end components. However, since the date I purchased this computer, it has randomly crashed (shut down entirely with no warning and then slowly rebooted). You could consider me computer illiterate, so when my PC stated I needed an update i had no idea what I needed to do. A friend told me about SD Bytes and how they call Shannon (the owner) to fix all of their computer issues as he is very friendly and gets the job done right away. I took their advice and called him, they were not lying he was great! He updated my PC right away and his personality was great! I never thought I would need someone to help me with my laptop until it just stopped working. I was so afraid I was going to lose all of my family pictures and all of my music. SDBytes/Shannon is the best! I have a laptop that I haven't been able to use for a couple years because it would crash everytime I would start it up. I brought it to Geek Squad originally because instead of just throwing out my laptop and getting a new one, I wanted to see if they could save it! At the very least, save my music and pictures. Well they told me there was nothing they could do and that my laptop was done for! A friend told me they had used Shannon before and that he worked miracles for her so I gave it a shot. Not only did Shannon fix whatever the problem was, he also made it so my laptop runs sooo fast now! Not to mention, he had my laptop back to me soooo quick. Over the last several years, subsequent to buying this computer, at least 4 different computer technicians (as well as the company that assembled the computer) attempted to diagnose the crashing problem. A variety of suggestions were made to try to fix the crashing problem, some of which did improve the computer's performance, but none solved the crashing problem. Then I met Shannon Isselhardt, owner of SDBytes, at a luncheon meeting. At my request, Shannon came to my office to work on some unrelated computer maintenance issues and I also explained the crashing problem, not really expecting a resolution after more than 2 years of dealing with this intractable problem. However, Shannon did a comprehensive test of my computer's components and determined that the memory was corrupted. For less than $100 to purchase all new memory for my computer, the computer crashing problem was eliminated.
